Image verification forms that makes you want to click “X” and punch your screen in.

Alright.  Image verification is a very useful tool for website owners to cut down on spam and automatic registrations.  I understand that.  But I HATE it when sites use an image verification system where it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to make out the letters.  I guess I use the web a bit more than other people, so this rant may not pertain to everyone out there, but it sure pisses me off.  I was signing up with Google today when this happened.  It’s not the first time though, there have been numerous times when this type of thing happened.  Seriously, do you have to make the letters THAT slanted and scrunched and illegible??  You’re forced to just make your best guess and come back again so they can give you another set of letters and numbers which you again can hardly make out.  It’s extremely annoying.

Let me get in front of you.. to save that extra half second

It happens ALL the time.  You’re driving at a moderate speed (definitely higher than the limit, nothing dangerous) in the left lane, with ample room between you and the car in front of you.  There’s traffic, and that ADHD brown POS gets in the right lane to pass you by and squeezes in right in front of you.  I wonder how happy he is for saving that extra split second of time?  I personally find myself frequently asking myself out loud how

Or that guy who is driving slow in the fast lane, with a guy driving slow in the slow lane right next to him.  It’s almost like a competition to see how agrivatingly slow they can pass each other. Or some experiment to see if their cruise controls are correctly calibrated.
